Problem adding a wing

I am having some difficulty with putting a wing on my rockets as they don't seem to line up correctly. Below is a short video to show you what I mean. In the video I ask if it makes a difference to the game but since making the video I seem to have noticed that it causes my rocket to twist slowly as it moves upwards. Can this problem be sorted?

It's trying to place a flat surface on a curved one. Imagine trying to balance a wooden plank on a basketball. Turn on angle snap mode, that will help.

^^ This. Try turning on angle snap.

In the lower left corner next to the symmetry mode display. Click on the button that looks like a bulls eye, the dot in a circle will change to a dot within a hexagon (IRC).

You can use the wasdqe keys to rotate the part on it's axes 90 degrees and hold shift while pressing wasdqe to rotate in 5 degree intervals. I find most use for it placing landing gear on planes.
