This is an idea I got from Wanner364

I've never made a mod in anything before, so if you'd like to help PM me pls,

here are my plans so far, keep in mind this will be big for me, I've never meddled with unity, and only a bit with blender

Project Title----------------Excursion Vehicle for Low Gravity Environments

i.e. E.V.L.G.E

Notes-------------------------------

Wheels have variable speed for different gravity wells

Main body-includes life support l,crew cabin, and KAS containers

Cockpit

Passenger module/comms board/viewing cabin/secondary command?

Wheels

suspension on the undercarriage maybe?

Custom remote tech dish

Possibly custom ladder as well

Main body variants-----------------

All have a kerbal year of life support

In non passenger variants, life support scales to 2-3 years

Support for one kerbal in command pod

Support for 5 extra kerbals in passenger variant

Command pod has KAS winch mount possibly

Multiple/1 powerful SAS UNIT/s to keep oriented in low gravity

High mass as well?

RTG/SOLAR?

Utility Hatch?

Encases the KAS and TAC components, primarily acting as an aesthetic artifact

Could serve as a remote tech relay base, 40Mm on two small dishes, 110Mm on main dish

Variants--------------------

Passenger variant

LFO variant?

Kethane Variant?

KAS Variant?

COMPATIBILITY-----------------

Possible modular fuel tanks integration

TAC Life support integration

KAS integration

RasterPropMonitor integration

Remote Tech 2 integration

so far what I've done

Many of the items you listed are pretty easy to add in the cfg files, (RTG, SAS, KAS, etc.). Also I would suggest TT's modular multiwheels instead of trying to make your own system. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/93205-0-24-2-TT-s-Modular-MultiWheels-7-2-Update-to-resolve-mass-bug-get-Roverpilot (it works in .25) with cfg editing you can add an MMW engine into your parts. Just make sure you get permission to use it though.
