Media Parts and Contracts for Money and Reputation

Relatively new to the forum so if this has been posted before I apologize. Has there been any discussion about adding media instruments such as cameras or video recorders to take up to earn money and reputation through media contracts? Seems to me like even just making the parts and adding them to the game would make missions a lot more fun.

This seems like a pretty good idea, though certainly a popular concept.
