Orange Tank SSTO (36 ton to Orbit) Non Airhogging

If you came here to look at a giant plane, you came to the wrong place. I've experimented a lot with ssto's and payloads and all of that aspect. I've read pa1893's post about space planes and that does help me on the low scale (part count). I have the worst possible computer for ksp and anything over 40 parts will make time slow down. I've tried many times to make a plane 36 ton ssto, but the part count was ridiculous. For my hogging ssto's I say that there are 10 intakes per engine. The correct amount of engines times time would already give me like 150 parts(with cubics for attachment points), and then even add wings...

I went the non-airhogging way and the rocket style. I have my own definition of hogging wether you have your engine to intake ratios or not. For me, hogging is that you gain all the 2300 m/s in the atmosphere and then you fly up into orbit and make a small burn to circularize. Non hogging is for me making up about 1000 m/s and still pretty low in the atmosphere and rocket engines take you up and you gain speed. As for the reason of a rocket, it was easier to make it reality. No need for bajillion of wings and visual stuff. You get restricted to high twr which is exactly what non hogging goes for.

I went rocket style because Rockets took less parts.

And finally after two paragraphs of rambling on, I present my Orange Tank SSTO.

It can take an orange tank (36 tons) into orbit. I haven't tried more, but I want a reliable amount to be sent out, not the limit.

- It has ~130 parts

- Has parachutes and landing gear for landing

- Don't worry about electric charge

Action Groups

1 - Toggle first pair of jets

2 - Toggle second pair of jets

3 - Toggle rocket engine

4 - Deploy chutes

Its sort of unstable when landing and pointing the nose somewhere too horizontal because center of mass and center of lift.
