That's the only reason you can't use them as general-purpose *cough*propellers*cough* electric motors. Such a little tweak, and a whole new dimension in gameplay would be opened up!

What you're asking for is actually a huge change, not "a little tweak". Unity wheels don't actually rotate, and are not actually wheel shaped, they just look like they are rotating wheels. The motors on them don't work by rotating anything, but by applying a linear force through the wheel part.

BTW, I would appreciate it if the person who keeps anonymously rating my threads as "terrible" would either stop it or step up and explain why. Just gobbing me in the eye like that serves no purpose, since I'm not doing anything wrong as far as I can tell.
