What about a mod that forces you to find planets with a telescope first?

Im doing a career reset and it would be a great mod to have in which you must have a ground observator/telescope to find and scour out the planets before you can visit them. I mean after all, how can a Kerbal make a maneuver node to a planet if one cannot verify a planet is really there? LOL

I don't believe there is such a mod. The closest is CactEye, which gives science for observing planets with space telescopes.

i was looking into Cacteye but its incompatible with DOE

"Incompatible" in this case just means planets look funky in Cacteye's window if you have flares enabled. Just temporarily disable flares if you want a clear look through the telescope.
