Drago SSTO Devision

This will be a new series I create in which I build SSTO's that have all sorts of roles and uses. I won't build any that don't have much purpose. Primary goal is function, secondary is looks. I intend to create SSTO's that preform tasks standalone, requiring no refueling or dropping of fuel. The title will have the newest craft that is in this division. The list has the newest crafts on the top and the farther down you go, the older the crafts get

LC Cruiser II "Ethos" - 6-8 ton payload to Laythe

Fourth SSTO. It is everything you want in a Laythe cargo SSTO. It has enough lift to be controllable on laythe and on kerbin. It is really stable and can easily reach orbital velocity from kerbin and Laythe. It has around 270 parts. Need I say more? Its pretty cool

Action Groups

1 - First pair of jet engines

2 - Second part of jet engines

3 - Nuclear engines

0 - Toggle all intakes (it reduces drag if you deactivate them. You lose less speed between the time you can't use you your jet engines to the time you get into space)

LC Cruiser I "Kaliver" - 2 ton payload to duna

Third SSTO I've made for this. It is capable of bringing 2 tons of cargo to Duna and then fly back. It can easily orbit, but is very picky of how you fly, because you have to use all the efficient ways, because I barely made it back. This doesn't have gliding engines just to save on weight. Essentially, I reserved to landing vertically because horizontally was too risky for me. You can put detachable payload in the payload area and you're done. But again, just be as efficient as possible.

Crew Cruiser II "Arenov"

Second SSTO of this series. It is duna capable and anything lower, which is mun and minimus. It can take off of Kerbin and land on any these celestial bodies and come back to Kerbin. It should be stable and has around 190 parts. For glide landing on duna, you can activate the vertical engine to lower your falling speed. It should be reliable and it takes 11 total crew. Its easy to fly up and has enough torque to be stable when engines start spooling down, which when it can't hold it, you activate an engine pair. I don't have a video ready for the duna excursion, but it will be up soon. For now I have mun landing pics.

Crew Cruiser I "Doppler" - 7 total kerbal payload

To start out this series I wanted to get out a very simple design. Its capable of orbit very easily and if flow correctly, can be landed on minimus (but not return), heck if I knew how to fly better, this could get into duna orbit. This is just the craft that you would send up to transfer crew. It was more dV than necessary in orbit and it is just a very reliable craft. The part count is fine; ~105 parts were used in total. It being a light craft gives it a good twr.

Please give me feedback if you like my crafts or not or whatever. Criticism is also nice because it helps me improve my crafts. There will be more crafts added

I intend to do similar, but unless I get a computer that is worth the title of a computer (its a 2008 macbook pro, its existence is sad), I won't make heavy cargo SSTOs because the part count will make ksp an ugly slideshow. I will make (and am working on) light cargo SSTOs, and I'll see how much further I will take this.

Thanks a lot. Really means something coming from someone like you. But there is a little funny thing that happens when i build these SSTOs. Everytime i do something, it looks like on of your crafts. You invented the wheel, but i reeinvent the wheel everyday. But i try to keep my crafts unique :)
