This banner will show the status of the server. I've ripped it off of adopted it from a Minecraft thing so please tell me if it doesn't seem to

be working.

The way DarkMultiPlayer works allows players with mods to connect to the server. However, what is interesting about this is that, because it has the DMP client do all/most of the heavy lifting (physics calculations, rendering, et cetera) and the server is more concerned with keeping players in sync and timewarp rates under control. What this means, because our server is not (currently) set to perform any client checks, is that any DLL mod can be used. Yes, FAR and stock players can play together, although no-one's done that yet and I'm really looking for a good laugh. However, more practical applications can mean that MechJeb and stock players can play together without the stock players being forced to install MechJeb.¹ Unfortunately this means that no parts mods will work.

So, you don't have to use the mods your friends use. But no mods that add parts please!

We have one server running, you can come on using the DarkMultiPlayer client version 1.6.2. The IP address is doomsday.us.to port 765 or 80.108.52.87 port 765 if the first one is not working.

There's also a TeamSpeak 3 server. You can access it at voice.doomsday.us.to. Just install the Teamspeak 3 client and click the link.
