KSP 0.25 slowdown

I installed KSP today and it worked perfectly on highest settings (30-40 FPS), when I opened it few hours later it was slow (10 FPS). I didn't change anything in time between. What on Earth (irony ) is going on?!

I would check the task manager if I were you. Maybe there is some process stealing cpu resources.

Whenever strange things happen like this, check the debug console(alt-f12) for clues. You can do this in game right when strange stuff is occurring.

It seems your running it on a laptop. Make sure you are either: A) Plugged in to a power source Running on High Performance battery mode. Laptops automatically decrease performance to save battery life when disconnected from power which I'm betting is the case here.

That may very well answer a question I was asking myself the other day ('why?'). Makes sense to me now. Thanks.

Just tried with a fresh copy of KSP with no success. I previously even had Edge of Oblivion and it worked like charm...
