Too many stages?

Recommended Posts

When i have too many stages in my rocket, there are so many that the buttons are in front of the Exit VAB button, and even scrolling with the mouse won't help with the buttons in the very start of the list. Any help for this? If images are needed i can provide them.

I don't have a solution, but I do have a workaround... save the lower half of your rocket as a subassembly. That way you an save your ship in two parts, and the staging list won't get that long. When you are ready to launch, you can combine the two halves again, and the launch button thankfully isn't obscured ;)

no need for that i think scrolling should 100% work but as he said he can't scroll, and that's the problem.

I can scroll, the problem is that i can't go any further than what's on the image.

maybe being in SPH have something to do with it ?, test if the same problem is happening in VAB if it does then its a bug.

I'm not being condescending here but have you made sure your mouse is over the staging column on the right of the screen when you use the scroll wheel? the pointer needs to be over the icons themselves.

Again, as i said, both the scrolling and the scroll wheel works. The image shows where is the limit of the scrolling, i can't scroll any further than that.

This is a known bug, are you experiencing a difficulty?

Usually, you can modify the very top stage with some very careful clicking, or wait until launch. Alternately, create an empty stage or two to fill the gap, pushing the other stages down so you can work with them.

Last time I had this, it seemed to detect a press of the exit button even if there was a stage in the way.

Though if it doesn't, you can just save you ship, start a new one, then exit then.
