Guidance on recording KSP on a mac

I want to make some KSP videos on a mac. Can you guys suggest on how I can record KSP with decent framerate and no lag on my mac (retina 13"). Also, suggest in-game camera angle mods.

I personally doubt you won't get any lag on a Mac, which AFAIK are office desktops with a few shiny features.

Have you tried Quicktime? It lets you record the screen but it won't capture ingame sound.

I use Snapz Pro X. Not free but its good. Currently works as expected in Mavericks environment. Ambrosia is working on an update for Yosemite users.
