Accidentally loaded last quicksave

Recommended Posts

I was adjusting my volume with the function keys and accidentally loaded my "last quicksave" (hold F9). :huh:

The problem is that was apparently last year and when I tried loading my regular save it took me to the same point. :mad:

Any way I can undo this? I've lost my under-construction-in-orbit space station and my probe on escape trajectory from the solar system. Not sure about saved craft designs. ;.;

I think the craft designs should be ok. As far as the gamesave is concerned however, it's probably gone. If your computer is set to do regular backups, and if KSP is in a directory that is backed up regularly, then that's the first place I would look to try and get back some of what you've done. After that, I think maybe you can right click on the persistent.sfs and look for an option that says "restore previous versions", but that is also going to be dependent on your window's system restore settings.

I always create a save backup, usually after every session. I've lost entire colonies before by reverting a save, I know the pain :'(

Just create a folder somewhere and copy your save file over when you finish playing, it's a small, but vital action!
