Tiered Parts?

I was thinking that because KSC is gonna be tiered, why not tier the parts too? Like starting with parts like Bargain Rocket Parts, then advancing with more advanced parts, and the previous parts becoming obsolete.

Tell me what you think of this idea

It would probably require not loading all parts during the load screen.

KSP loads ALL things on startup, and thanks to 32-bit and Unity, it's limited to 4gigs of RAM.

That means that it's not practical at the moment, unless the secs implemented texture reduction pack.

Otherwise I think it's a good idea.

the idea its self is great! the Devs might not do this but a modder might.

Is this not kind of already what happens with the tech tree?
