Can someone please explain to me how to use KerbPaint? I got it recently, but I need some help with how to use it.

What you mean is it a stock part or a mod part your trying to paint or you mean to get the menu to come up ?

EDIT- I didn't play much with it but it depends on the texture of the part from what, I got if it had to be a sold color or if you could have stripes.

I can get the menu up, but I would like an explanation of the coloring of parts with the mod.
