How to multitask while burning engines?

Hi all,

I just noticed during a long burn that game time in KSP pauses when switching to other programs. Is it possible to override this? It would be very useful to be able to check flight plans and prepare for next phases of flight while still using the time to burn engines. Thanks!

Alt-Enter.

To expand on the above comment: Alt+Enter puts it into windowed mode, so it can run in the background. Pressing alt+enter again will put it back into full screen.

Should get the Kerbal Alarm clock mod if you haven't, so you won't overburn right through stuff while doing other things/

Get another computer.

Get up from the computer, and leave the room. Go cook a meal. Take a nap. Teach yourself to juggle. Read a book. Pull up another instance of KSP to design the rescue mission. Light a candle for Jeb. Make a little shrine to put it in.

Then maybe, just maybe, get back to the computer in time to finish the burn, and timewarp to the insertion burn.
