But that is Zvezda, which is Russian. There are plenty of US flags all over the US segment.

No offense intended, I know it's an Orthodox blessing, but this looks like some sort of odd practical joke. Go up to a guy, smack him on the face with a piece of wood, then toss some water on him? If that isn't comedy gold (and a lawyer's dream) then I don't know what is.

As for Gagarin's picture being taken down temporarily: What matters on the Space Station, the science or the decorations? We should be worried about the science, but they, seeing as they live there for a half a year minimum, should worry themselves with the decor and pick decor that they like best, within reason of course. Just as long as the decor doesn't interfere with normal scientific operations then I say do whatever you want with it, just be sure to clean it up for the next crew and don't let it get out of hand.

I have no problem with flags of all the participating nations being there - it's a collaborative effort!
