No Science Awarded When Finishing Mission

Started a new career save, launched my first vehicle, finished it by recovering the vessel, and was awarded money, reputation, but no science. I was using Kerbal Construction Time, and fearing that could be the issue, removed it, and started a new game. Yet the issue still persists. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be?

Did you do any science? Were the science parts still attached to the ship when you recovered? Did you reset, keep data, or transmit after each experiment?
