Veto Aerospace short-range aircraft 'Delta Scoot'

The Delta Scoot is VA\'s most recent all-purpose short range aircraft. And we really do mean all-purpose. This vehicle has twin C7 F12 gimballing engines, providing the power, and twin C7 AX309 wide gimballing engines provide the maneuvreability, as well as thrust to get you home once the F12s use up their fuel supply getting you someplace fast. The Delta Scoot is an ideal interceptor for any military. It can be fitted with all manner of weapons. It has a very good turn time, with reasonable flipout recovery rate - but fly it right and this shouldn\'t pose any problem at all. Its undercarriage features C7 retractable wheels fitted to C7 small pylons, giving this crate the room to carry missiles and bombs - even external fuel tanks. It is advised to fit drogue parachutes, as C7 landing gear is a pain to stop with. We suggest pulling the gear up when the vehicle is moving under 5 m/s. The aircraft should then come to a complete stop. The aircraft comes complete with navigation lights - to prevent other aircraft from colliding with it. We suggest not using this function when in a combat scenario.

As stated, the Delta Scoot is an all purpose aircraft. It can be fitted with weapons, bombs, run recons, fly from carriers or act as a mobile research station. Below are some images taken of VA\'s own Delta Scoot Polar Refit. Note the communications array and scientific equiment mounted on the forward fuselage. Also note the lack of secondary engines, and the fuel lines that take their place. The Polar Refit carries twin external tanks for getting this bird up to altitude ready for the flight toward the Pole.
