Just starting this thread to poll what everyone thinks would be the best aircraft to start off with, hopefully all aircraft listed should be done and posted on this thread. As per one of the options, you are more than welcome to suggest another aircraft for me to build (if so please write its name below).

Hi again,

PAK FA is in the works as of tonight, it is taking shape but it is having a pitching up issue which while manageable can prove a bit difficult on landing-more to come soon.

So tonight (made before this thread was born!) I present to you the:

De Havilland Sea Vixen

This is one of my favourite Fleet Air Arm aircraft and is worthy of recognition on this thread. It was incredibly easy to build with the only issue being the center of lift being a long way behind the center of mass during test flights but this has now being changed so it handles superbly: it can take off in a staggeringly short space and can land in less than 1/4 of the runway's length from impact to wheelstop. This version is equipped with external fuel tanks which increases the range of the aircraft by a little bit- I have made a version with anti-ship missiles but they are a bit clunky and are not the most aesthetically pleasing thing I have created

Evening all (again),

The PAK FA (by popular demand) is done!

This one was a bugger to build, I will be honest, as the leading edge flaps and the awkward positioning of the ailerons meant that it was at first unstable but then began to become much more controllable. In terms of agility, this aircraft is quite outstanding with the aircraft able to easily do multiple tight laps fo the space center on maxmium throttle-the maximum speed obtained at low altitude is between 190 and 230 m/s.

Not going to include all the history and interesting facts here, I advise you to research it on your own as you will find much more out there than what I can squeeze into a few paragraphs on here-to cut to the chase this fighter is set to be Russia's new air-superiority fighter to rival the f22 Raptor.

Also please don't give it one star because it is another replica thread, vote on the quality of the craft- I hate to blow my own trumpet but I think they are a bit more than one star. (I could be wrong.)
