Where is my persistent file??

Recommended Posts

I recently updated to v0.25 (0.642) and have become stuck drifting with dead batteries - I time-warped with my solar panels facing the wrong way, lesson learned ;.;

So now I wants to give myself a little juice just to rotate my poor probe. I thought it would be as easy as editing my persistent file. But to my surprise, the persistent.sfs file in C:\Program Files (x86)\KSP_win\saves\default is an old one from v 0.23 and does not contain my new ship.

Any suggestions of where I might find it...or has KSP done away with them?

Thank you!

You have KSP in Program Files? No wonder its file read/write operations are being redirected. You'll find them under %APPDATA% (you can enter that as-is into the Run dialog, or an Explorer window as a file path). Not sure exactly where, but from memory there should be a folder called VirtualStore somewhere in there, which should have the save file(s) in it.
