I was literally just watching the 0.90 trailer and then quickly flicked onto BBC news because im at work and looks more official like, I then come across an article about how the basic idea of space travel, trade and combat are THE up and coming genre. KSP made it in there!

Nothing particularly exciting but It's the first thing I've seen with anything even remotely Kerbal about it.

I think Mr Anthony is wide of the mark in saying that realistic physics would crush the player's freedom. It's true that not all games should be "about" the physics as KSP is, but there are cleverer ways of tackling it than just making up the behaviour out of whole cloth.

But, his game. I'd have to see how it plays.

Didn't realise Elite Dangerous was due out tomorrow, that might mean me parking KSP for a while. Too young for the original Elite but loved Fronteer, also a big fan of the X series which for me carried on where Elite left off.

Not necessarily. Version .25 had some rather glaring bugs and it didn't even get a patch for those.
