Construction: Advanced Inline Stabilizer stuck inside an MPL

Recommended Posts

I was building an MPL module for a space station, and accidentally placed a stabilizer in the interior of the module and can't revert it. There are already a lot of things attached to the MPL, so I'd love to learn a technique to remove things that aren't directly clickable, if there is one (e.g., a manifest or BOM view?).

This is ksp 0.25.0 installed via Steam on Arch Linux.

As far as I know, the only way to do this is to move the whole assembly such that you can get your camera view inside the part... it's a real pain in the ass.

Yes, this is your best bet. Try to zoom in all the way. If that's not enough, you will have to slide the view around a little (if you're in the SPH) or move the view up/down (if you're in the VAB) so that the camera clips into your MPL. Then angle it so you can see the rogue part. Hover the mouse and make sure the rogue part is highlighted before you click. Camera clipping can be a little tricky, but is very doable.

Make sure you've saved before hand, in case you grab the wrong part...(much easier to fix)

Welcome to the forums!

Cheers,
