How get to see the coloured biomes

Hi there, I've seen in the 0.9 preview videos on youtube that they were jumping planets that had their biomes coloured, how do you get to see that??

I just installed the 0.9 Beta and I could see all the new features but that one.

Any help?

There's an option in the cheat debug menu that says something like 'see biomes in map view'.

Check that option, and it should overlay the biomes map onto the planets/moons.

Not only does it help by showing biomes, but it also serves as a form of night vision! If you're trying to de-orbit from the dark side of a planet or moon, it helps to know where the land masses are, or to help find the KSC on Kerbin in the dark.

It would be nice in the future if Squad would implement a part that mapped out biomes (similar to scan sat, but maybe increase the area that satellites can see so it's not soooo tedious) so that we didn't have to cheat...I mean...use the debug menu to see those things.

It would also provide an "in-game" way to gather more science and just general information about planets. Not to mention giving satellite's a purpose other than...

...but it looks cool
