Rating locked threads

There is a thread from yesterday about adding servos and hinges and stuff that was locked because that stuff is on the WNTS list. Thats all fine, but I wanted to rate that thread 5-stars because its still something I would support becoming stock.

Would it be possible to rate locked threads?

In any case, the point of locking a thread is essentially to visibly archive it. That is, it's preserved as-is for members who would like to view it, but cannot be interacted with in any way. (Including rating it, editing posts within it, etc.)
