How to merge two saves together

Recommended Posts

It's going to take lots of time, but if you copy all the active flights from one save (Preferably the one that has fewer flights) to the end of the active flights section of the other save (using your favorite text editor, notepad works well) it should work, YMMV.

Thanks, looking promising - though since I've never edited any of the save files I was hoping for a little more detail.

How do I recognise the active flights section, and what are the markers for the start and end of each flight entry?

In the save file it should have a listing for all of the active flights. If I was infront of my home PC I would copy and paste the section for you from one of my saves.

Step 1: Back up everything :)

You need to look for "VESSEL" in the persistent.sfs file, and the word "ROSTER", and cut everything between (and including) the first "VESSEL" line and the } two lines above "ROSTER". Then paste all of that into the other persistent.sfs file, right before the first VESSEL line (or between the last two }'s before the ROSTER).
