Where is the maneuver node? I have updated the tracking station full, still nothing. I can't really send any craft to mun or minmus without it.

Yup, in career you now need to upgrade buildings to unlock features. I think this one is actually locked out by the Tracking Station.

Yeah, I updated that. Just checked in the training, none there either. A bug.

Maneuver nodes is under "Flight Planning." If you right click and hover over the cost of the Lvl2 Upgrade for Mission Control you will see it says "Tracking Station Required for Flight Planning" if you do not yet have a Tracking Station to Lvl2.

Maneuver Nodes require BOTH Mission Control and Tracking Station to be at Lvl2.

Well many of us did just that with older versions of the game that did not have maneuver nodes. It can be done.

Mun and Minmus are fairly simple to get to without manoeuvre nodes. Both of them generally move about 45 degrees in the time it takes to intercept them (so if you are looking at the north pole of Kerbin in map view, you want them between one and 2 o'clock if you are planning to start your burn at 6 o'clock. Minmus is easiest to get to if you intercept at the ascending/descending node, so zoom out on map view, past its orbit, with the camera on the equatorial plane, and you will see where the orbits cross (pan round until you see both orbits as two intersecting lines).

I must have been playing for about a month before I learnt how to use manoeuvre nodes. I hadn't anticipated how useful they would be and so didn't bother using them. You can only imagine the horror one feels when they are trying to cowboy a transfer to Duna and don't get the intercept ("obviously" I wasn't setting objects as targets either, so I had no idea how far away I was).

Ok, no wonder I did not get the maneuver node, I thought patched conics were the same thing and spent all my funds on the tracking station, haha. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
