Career mode problem please help ?

I need help with my career mode not sure what's wrong , when I get into space and try and make an orbit the manoeuvre nodes don't appear neither does the apoapsis if you know what I mean?, they are just not appearing at all and I find it difficult to make a circular orbit or an orbit at all without it,

WHY is it not appearing like it does in sandbox mode, do I need to research something ?

Upgrade the Tracking Station and Mission Control to level 2 to see orbit lines and use manoeuvre nodes

Wow ok that costs a lot lol! I don't know how I'm gonna get that much money lol!

Contracts and strategies. Only accept ones that pay out a lot more than they cost to do. Also, SRBs are cheap - use and abuse them (a lot of my early tech 0.25 launchers were pretty much entirely solid fuelled).

Sorry but what are srb's , also what strategies do you find best I struggle to pick one of stayed clear of them lol

Solid Rocket Boosters - the RT-10 and BACC. High thrust, low efficiency, but super cheap. As for strategies, anything that gives you extra funds, really. Once you have the necessary funds to upgrade, you can start getting the science and going on from there. That's what I'd do, anyway.

Only contract I have is an orbit one and I can't do it as you know I have nothing to help set an orbit lol , I went for fundraising strategy not had any money as of yet lol

You can get to orbit with just the RT-10, some gas tanks, the TV-30, and a separator or two. There's a number of models around the forum that show how.

Definitely use lots of Solid Fuel Boosters.

Take alot of missions that have you test parts while landed, or splash downed. Also, science from space around kerbin is pretty easy.

I feel that the game always rewards contract completion with way too much reputation, I like to sacrifice at least 25% of my reputation gains for funds instead.

Try to make your craft recoverable as possible. It doesn't matter too much how much your ship costs if you can recover it all.
