Game takes a very long time to load.

I really want to play KSP and enjoy it, but every time I start up the game I'm faced with a 5 minute loading time. 90% of this time is spent loading sounds and the different agencies in the game. This ridiculously long loading time is severely putting me off playing.

You may want to check for unused virtual network adapters (e.g., Hamachi, VPN services, etc.) in your Network Connections panel (usually shown as a link saying Change adapter settings). This can be found in your Control Panel, and although exactly where it is depends on your version of Windows, you can usually find it in the sidebar once you open the Network and Internet section and then go into the Network and Sharing Center.

If you find any unused network adapters (they'll usually be greyed out, but still available and ready to use), right-click on them and Disable them. You can come back and reenable them if you need to use them later, but if you want to play KSP without waiting through the obscenely long load time, they need to be disabled.

This is a known Unity issue, and unfortunately Squad doesn't seem to be able to do much about it.

Thanks for the help! I do use Hamachi and turning off it's network worked! It did take two tries starting the game to work though. I should have known that annoying program was screwing me over, only reason it survives on my computer is because my annoying friends adore it. Thanks for the help! I can finally play!
