Symmetry mode randomly switching from radial to mirror in SPH

When I'm building stuff in the SPH the symmetry keeps changing between radial and mirror mode for no reason. If I press the R key and set it to mirror, as soon as I move the part back over the craft it goes back to radial mode.

Parts, to which you are trying to attach, were likely first attached in radial mode. Try reattaching them in mirror mode first, and then attach more parts to them, in mirror mode.
