Is there any way to check the role of a Kerbal while in flight?

What the thread title says. I can't seem to find a way to do this. Hopefully someone will chime in with some obvious thing that I missed and I'll feel silly

Yeah hit map view (m) and click the Kerbal icon the right side of the screen.

It would be good if there was an icon on the kerbal windows on the bottom right so that it is easy to see each role.

It's a nice thought to have them be able to multi task. Anyone remember Theme Hospital where you could build a lecture room and have a multi-skilled doctor (surgeon, physchiatrist and researcher) train the other junior doctors to harbour the same skills?
