What does a red clipboard icon mean when viewing locations for contracts?

I can't figure it out.. I have polar orbital contracts that show in green and I definitely cannot make them with my current funds or rockets. So why makes this one coloured red?

The red location on the right... see below.

p><p>I can

Edit> Accumulation of answers is that it is just a way to show different contracts offered.

It seems that each available or active contract is shown in its own colour. So the fact that it's red has no special significance.

There was a post somewhere (maybe the Fine Print add-in thread, I can't recall) that said something about separate colours for offered and accepted contracts, but my experience says this is not the case.

Colour merely groups a contract's individual destinations together. The symbols in the markers tell you which experiment you need to perform at that destination.

Also, by default the F1 key will get KSP to save a screenshot to its "Screenshots" directory - so you don't have to pull the camera out to take a picture of your screen.

I don't think the specific colour means anything. Just like the colours of target orbits they vary so you can tell which ones belong to different contracts. As far as I can tell a clipboard indicates you're required to take a crew report. Two footprints (like you have for one of the green ones) indicates you need an EVA report. There are others for temperature scans and so on.

These guys know their stuff :) It's to help you figure out what the spread looks like when you've got multiple contracts on the same body; sometimes things that are too far apart are just impractical within the contract's budget, so you'll want to eyeball the distribution before you accept.

Accepted contracts icons in Tracking station on mouse-over have green text, while offered appear in orange.
