Anyone else having issues that seem to be related to full screen (shadowplay/gsynch)

In KSP settings I have vsynch off, frame limiter set to "default", and full screen highlighted.

I have a gsynch monitor. I noticed that gsynch does not come on when playing KSP. Gsynch requires full screen to work, although it could be related to the FPS limiter in KSP.

Shadowplay also refuses to record KSP. I do not have "desktop recording" enabled for shadowplay. This along with the gsynch problem suggests to me that it might be some kind of weird "fullscreen" mode in KSP that doesn't qualify as fullscreen as far as the nvidia hardware is concerned.

Further research indicates that this might be a unity bug. http://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/regression-nvidia-shadowplay-does-not-record-gameplay-on-4-dot-5-x
