sjwt
Thanks for breathing a good deal of life back into KSP for us!
Awaras
Yeah, thanks Tog! There were some small issues but on the whole it was great fun and showed us a whole new side of KSP. It would be nice if you could post some stats on the final mission - at least how much money each of us spent or something. Also, when you have the time, it would be nice if you could make a compilation of craziest designs or something like that. (with the designers permission, of course). I spent pretty much everything, I could of done it really cheep, but tf\'s statement that it was \'first to the Mun to win\' had me worried he was going on time, so I go their in 1:32.. 22 tanks, 6 large engines, 1 small and 1 ZO2 panel + odds and ends

DonLorenzo
Nice, I put kerbonaut safety first and included a large zox tank for some life support buffer. I think the final design had a fuel tank less than the one shown in the picture, I had to make ends meet and they got there with about 200 bucks to spare edit: the final one had a whole extra fuel-tank-rocket stack.. oh well it\'s only for the press anyway! Awaras
Well, the capacity of the ZO2 tanks is such that unless you take like 10 tanks with you, the kerbonauts will die anyway unless you take steps to minimize the time they spend in the shade, so I just took the ZO2main tank and timed the launch so they are in daylight most of the time. DonLorenzo
yup, I found through about 20 zox-mun-missions all launched with no regard of the sun, only one got in trouble while carrying 1 big tank. That ratio was deemed sufficient to outweigh any eye-damage from observing the sun too much
Alchemist
That was my first version of the Munar craft. One of the problems was the launch stage left in orbit... The other problem was too big chance to suffocateSo I made some upgrades to add safety and pulled the maximal payload of the design (I even included the chute for more safety during landing back on Kerbin)And touchdown!
