Introducing my first part ever....The Small Radial Liquid Fuel Tank or the RLF-1

The problem I need to solve before I release it is that the orientation of the part is completely off. I want the tank to be sticking off a little bit like in the pictures of the craft flying but as you can see in the first picture when I place the part radially it attaches in from the center of the tank and not at the end of the support legs. I need some help on how to do this. Do I have to rotate the part in blender or in unity? Does it matter how its orientated in blender/unity or do i need to do something to the config file? Or do I need to change the origin of the part in blender? I'm not sure where to start so any help is much appreciated.

From the look of it, you attachment problem appears to be just a config issue (Specifically the "node_attach=" line). If you set up that node at the correct point with the orientation you want in the config, your part should attach the way you intend.

I've tried changin different values for the node_attach and some are way off. If I do this node _attach = 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1 it looks like shown in the picture and if i do this node _attach = 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1, 1 the top gets flipped up 90 degrees but then if I do anything else I start getting wired results.
