This seems like a silly yet interesting thing to do in the spirit of exploration and science, which I thought fits very well within the theme of KSP. Honestly, now that I think of it, I can\'t imagine why anyone wouldn\'t want to strap a lamp onto a weather balloon and send it into the stratosphere - All while taking pictures of it. However, at the present we are unfortunately unable to do this with balloons. Furthermore, even if we did have balloons, which I understand is a planned feature, I doubt we would be able to strap living room furnishings (such as table lamps) onto them. Thusly, the purpose of this posting is to spread awareness of the potential benefits of such an undertaking.Also, please note that this thread is for humorous purposes and is not meant to be taken especially seriously.
