@Moss:

Please make sure to read the OP and supporting information when trying to provide support. Blanket advice to update the OS is unhelpful at best, and useless when the OP is already running the latest version.

@yakso:

Thanks for following the support sticky! In the future, you might provide system information in a human-readable format, since System Profiler Reports are only readable on Macs.

There doesn't appear to be anything unusual in your log, certainly no errors related to the crash. Based on the timing and your system information, my best guess is that KSP is running out of memory. Does it crash (automatically close) or hang (stop responding)?

Try using the replacement Launcher Ted posted here to reduce the Texture Quality in the Graphics settings. Otherwise, try the permissions fixes described in the Known Issues & Self Help thread.

@Master Tao:

Thank you for the reply.

* The System Profiler Report is a plain-text XML file, that can be read on any OS. (Human-readable is debatable.) However, what you should know is that this file was generated by exactly following the method that you requested in your sticky ("use the "System Report" app from the 'About This Mac' menu and hit cmd+s"). Recent versions of MacOS do not export an RTF file by this method but only the XML file. Steam support seems to know this. Now, you do too.

I suggest that you update your sticky to request the actual information that you want instead. I'm not sure exactly what information you need, but (if this is what you are after) perhaps a better set of steps to list would be:

* Open a terminal window by opening Terminal.app from within your Applications/Utilities folder

* Type "system_profiler > system-Report.txt" (Without the quotation marks, and followed by a return)

* Wait a minute for it to finish executing

* Locate the file "system-Report.txt" in your home folder.

Also:

* KSP crashes, rather than hangs.

* The replacement Launcher crashed immediately upon trying to launch it.

* I have tried deleting KSP and re-installing from scratch.

* I have set all of the KSP files and directories to 777 permissions.

* I have tried waiting six months for a new version of KSP to come along and fix the problem. (Yes, really. It didn't.)
