Camera shifting downwards

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I think this question may have been asked before but I was unable to find a good solution for the problem. I am running KSP v.90.0 on my Macbook Pro, and I have this problem where every 6000m, the camera shifts downward. Here are few screenshots to show what I mean. This is a list of the current mods that I have installed:

Active Texture Management

AIES Aerospace

Environmental Visual Enhancements

Kerbal Engineer

kOS

KW Rocketry

RemoteTech

I tried removing all my mods and testing a launch with a smaller test rocket, and the problem didn't exist. Afterwards, I reinstalled all my mods and did a launch with same test rocket and there still wasn't any problem. In other words, this problem only exists for heavier rockets. Has anyone else noticed this same problem, or come up with a solution?

Thanks

I don't know very much about how that would work, and as far as I know none of your mods change the camera, but try launching a comparably-sized ship to your large one made out of stock parts. If that doesn't glitch the camera, than it's a problem with KW Rocketry. Otherwise... I have no idea :P

Ok I did some more testing and I don't think the problem is related to KW Rocketry. I've noticed that the issues with the camera only happen when I am using a remote controlled craft. That is, whenever I have a craft under local control the camera behaves normally, which leads me to believe that the issue may be related to remotetech. I have no idea why this should be the case, and I can't find any other mention on the forums of camera issues related to remotetech.

Nope not KW, tested a Mk1-2 pod with a real chute. 2 parts. It think its real chute. Go to this thread http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/105070-90-6-death-kraken-reinstall-does-not-fix-issue

No I said in the previous post that I don't think its related to KW Rocketry. I don't have Real Chute installed so I my problem must be caused by something else. I saw a couple other threads about the same issue but none have a solution applicable to my case.
