Crash when adding SRB to radial decoupler in VAB

Basically, I go to attach an SRB (is it "a SRB" or "an SRB"? Another support question:sticktongue:)to a radial decoupler and the game freezes and shows the twirly rainbow cursor of doom

How to Reproduce

On OSX Lion, add an SRB to a radial decoupler.

Based on the description and log, I'd say it's Bug #2007. I haven't had any difficulty when using this workaround:

Place parts normally, but only change symmetry (C key) when they are not touching the craft.
