HELP! I need this to fit that, with nothing but that! -rover issue

I was aiming for a saucer style capsule to house a rover im sending. This is as close as I can get with the mods I have. As you can see im having the issue with the sides. There just iust much nodes to play with.

Ive tried these and they either looked really bad or failed to separate from saucer

-Procedural fairings

-KW fairings

-attachment plates

-ring style decouplers

We'll for one you don't need that big of a heat shield, and two have you tried an upside down interstage fairing? That would also alow you to get rid of that bottom decoupler.

I kinda specialize in small low part count, astedicaly pleasing disigns

To the OP:

Tidus Klein's suggestion of an upside-down fairing is one good idea. Some people without that mod use structural panels in a ring instead, but you probably don't want to go that route unless you insist on remaining "stock."
