Bob Kerman, despite being a scaredy cat, is friends with The Kraken. It turns out that the Kraken is misunderstood, or at least me and Bob believe in that. The reason he swallows so many kerbals is because he's trying to swallow the mean planet Jool, but he fails each time and eats kerbals near Jool by accident. And this time, when aerobraking near Jool to land on Laythe, Bob was knocked off his ship and swallowed by The Kraken! He still likes The Kraken, although he says to himself,"Maybe I should tell Jeb about all of this soon."
