I've seen it before, and it still inspires a certain sense of awe. It's an awesome short film.

Earth, Jupiter, Enceladus, Saturn, Mars, Iapetus, Unnamed Asteroid, Europa, Titan, then I think was Triton or Miranda, and then again Titan.

frozen place.. enceladus? Or europa?

It seems that back then they also ignore venus as a good place to colonize. The concept that must be "surface" under our feet is too strong. Is not easy to think out of the box.

Lately I hear Carl Sagan voice in lots of videos. Of course it does not bother me, he was my favorite scientist. The one who open my respect for science.

Having solid ground under our feet makes us feel safer. Standing mere centimeters above a fiery abyss is not something most people feel comfortable with. Mars "feels" like Earth, even though the conditions outside would rip your lungs out in an instant, and freeze you stiff before you even realize it.

Maybe you saw it via the link in this thread?

Whoops. Didn't notice that one.

I wonder how many generations we humans have to go through to get to these places. Or whether I'll still be there to witness it.

Well, the last shot has airships flying in the atmosphere of Saturn.

Don't worry too much about Venus, we'll get there eventually.

Titan? I thought Titan didn't have rings?

Though, I do know that Titan doesn't have much gravity, despite the thick (and slightly orange-tinted) atmosphere, so much so that humans can fly by flapping artificial wings. Didn't remember where I read that, though.
