can't go to launch pad

I'm playing the full career without any mods. I recently lost Jeb Kerman, and after that weird stuff started happening. Since then, after trying to go to the launchpad it always says I have no pilot so I can't enable SAS. Now, after messing around in the Astronaut complex I can't even go to the launchpad. If I try to click on the launchpad and then launch with a pilot the game essentially freezes up.

Yep. It looks like your problem is that you fired one of the kerbals that you rescued from orbit. Specifically "Rodfel Kerman"

Follow the link below. It will show you how to add Rodfel back to your roster, and will even tell you how to tag him so that he stays fired but won't break your save.
