Contract Orbit Guides disappeared on the map? Can you turn them off or something?

So I'm at the point where I'm starting to launch satellites into solar orbits, but quite randomly the map view has stopped showing the usual orbit guides for satellite contracts, both on the map while flying a spaceship and at the control center map. I also don't get orbit previews of available but currently unaccepted kerbin-orbit satellite contracts anymore either.

Here you can see I've currently accepted a solar orbiting satellite contract:

And yet there are no orbit guides on the map:

Is this just a bug? Or maybe I turned off the guides somehow?

I have that problem sometimes, too. All I have to do to fix it though is exit the tracking station and re-enter.
