Beagle 2 probe may have be found

According to The Guardian the lost Beagle 2 Mars probe may have been found by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The UKSA will hold a press conference on 16.01. and tell what they know.

Beagle 2 was supposed to land on Mars in 2003 but didn't send a signal after landing. Further tries to contact the lander weren't successful so ESA had to give it up.

I remember being glued to the TV on that Christmas Day, and being so disappointed when it didn't work.
