osx crash

while trying to get my mods to install, I've been constantly fighting crashes. this was on a stock install, but mods had been recently installed (although i had reinstalled squad and nasa mission, by deleting them and then teling steam to redownload.) anyway, got a crash. ksp.log here: http://pastebin.com/MyDTXh6g

as you can see, there still seem to be some module manager edits applied to the parts. this is after freshly installing game data (steam cloud does not seem to be available for ksp, however, as i do not see an option to turn it off.) any ideas?

You're running out of memory. See the How to Get Support sticky for more details on what to do about.

That stickied thread is in the Support (modded installs) forum, but much of the advice applies to stock KSP on OS X.

how am i running out of memory on a clean install??

You might want to try turning the Texture Quality down a bit in the Video Settings; 0.90 seemed to reset that setting to Full-Res for a lot of people, for some reason... It's caused a few issues like this.
