Help resizing a PDF in Windows 8

So I want to build a paper model of the Ares 1-X, but I am coming across a problem. The model is only available in 1:144 scale, but I want to build it in 1:100 scale, to fit with the other models I have built. Now, Windows 8 had pretty crappy printer settings, and I can't find a way to scale the PDF to 144% (the amount needed to bring it up to 1:100). If anyone knows a way to do this, please help. Thanks :)

I've never tried it before, but can you save the image (extract it) from the PDF? If not, you could always view it whatever full size is offered and then use something like Gimp to do a screen capture... then you can rescale the image to whatever you want.

*EDIT*

Forget that. Here's what I did. I downloaded the PDF file. Started Gimp. In Gimp, I opened the PDF file... Gimp will allow you to import all of the images or a single page at a time. Then just rescale the image. ;)

Is your printer auto-scaling the image to fit the page?

*edit*

You do realize that after rescaling the image (going from 1/144 scale to 1/100 scale), the page size increases (via Gimp) from 8.5 x 11 to 12.16 x 15.87, yes? You may have to print sections of each page, the individual parts, if your printer only handles 8.5 x 11 sheets.
