Jetsons: Kerbal edition V.3

Oh yeah, I just went there. It\'s not that big a leap, I\'m surprised no-one\'s done it yet(Or have it missed the thread)?

Menacing, isn\'t it?... Ok not really :(

Firing!

New flying car:

Hovering above the pad

And off, at higher speeds

Again, landed near the KSC Munolith

Top speed: 225 m/s

Range: Testing, estimated several thousand kilos

Very maneuverable, no stability problems like the old one, I think looks better, faster, just in every way better. Time to land is also a lot faster, and you can be a lot more precise with it. Doesn\'t turn well on land, however, because I couldn\'t use Katerpillar Wheels, too short. C7 doesn\'t work well with turning.

Winglets do infact increase instability, so none on this one. Has less RCS fuel, but it should still be enough for long trips.

Getting off the pad...

...and zooming away!

Landed by the KSC Munolith

And off in seconds flat.

I added winglets after that flight, I\'m not sure if they helped or hurt the maneuvering.

Well, with winglets:

Don\'t maneuver suddenly when going fast, or you\'ll start rolling. Not much of a problem because you can hit 'B'.

Top speed: Around 200 m/s in dense atmo, ran out of fuel because of ^, though probably could go into orbit.

Very capable to just flip around and start going the other way, takes a couple seconds to completely brake though.

Has a decent amount of range, more than any car does. About 1000 km I\'d say, from my flights. And you can still fly with RCS, for another couple dozen kilos(Rather slowly though) you just can\'t take off again after you land. I wouldn\'t recommend running out of RCS, though :P.

Landing takes a lot of time, because it is rather finicky when trying to land in a specific spot, very sensitive.

Can still fly no matter which way is up to you :P.
