Decoupler Trouble

So I was building my Space Station and I accidentaly forgot a decoupler on it. Is there any way to get rid of it, without destroing the space station?

If it's sitting on top of a docking port, you should be able to just "decouple node" from the port, and it will drift away very slowly.

Or kick it off gently with another vessel. It' s much more kerbal

You're lucky it's on a docking port. The reality is you didn't need that decoupler at all - you could have hooked the next part directly to the port.

Decoupler kicked things away, though, and auto-added to staging. Using a docking port in that way would have meant an action group or something purely manual (which probably wouldn't have been too bad, since it was probably just splitting off the pusher part when in position).
