KSP in Celestia!

Mogadishu

Recommended Posts

I made the Kerbol system in celestia. You can\'t see Kerbol until you\'re about 5.5 LY away.

The Yellow star below Kerbin is Sol.

It took several hours to get the textures and atmosphere working, but everything is EXACTLY the same as in KSP.

Heck, I might am going to add a little capsule floating precariously close to Kerbin.

Download Version 1.3

Version History:

1.0 Original Upload

1.1 Modified Star

1.2 Modified Star (Again)

1.2.1 Fixed Orbit Period of Kerbin

1.3 Fixed Munar orbit and rotation periods, added Minmus, new Textures, Preparation for capsule

INSTRUCTIONS:

Unzip into the main directory of celestia. Celestia will automatically load the files.

In celestia, under navigation, 'Goto Object...' type Kerbol. When you\'re in the Kerbol system repeat, just this time 'Kerbin'.

TADA!

Err, this still doesn\'t work. I found the folder and all, but when I run celestia, it becomes really blocky and square (text becomes unreadable, light is emitted in a square). I\'ve only succeeded once, and when I did, Kerbol had the Sun\'s texture, the Mun, the Moon\'s, and Kerbin was plain white. Note, though, that I am a mac. Thanks!
