How can i delete some parts from mods?

I've downloaded USI Kolonization Sistem, but i don't need most of the parts, how can i delete them?

If you look in the mod folder and then in parts you should see all the parts in the mod listed. you can just delete the ones you don't want

Usually you just have to dig down into the mod's folder and find the corresponding files. Some mods put each part in its own folders, and others will put several to a folder (for sharing textures and the like). The main thing you need to do is deleted the ".cfg" files for the parts in question, and those parts won't load. The models and textures will still take up memory as well, unless you delete those too, so this is generally easier when the mod doesn't put more than one part in the same folder.

Anyone know a safe way to disable MKS systems? I only really want to harvest water. I have no desire to set up all the modules and make spare parts, punch cards, etc. I've already deleted the parts that make those.

I want just the habitation units that feed on electric charge.
